The ESSEC Cinema Festival that we have meticulously crafted strives to explore all the essential dimensions of this enchanting art.
Starting from June 2nd, our opening ceremony promises to captivate audiences, inaugurating a series of rich and varied events. We offer a range of practical activities, such as editing, shooting, and acting workshops, to allow participants to explore the intricacies of the filmmaker's craft.
In parallel, moments of intellectual exchange, such as conferences and film debates led by film professionals, will offer a captivating dive into the world of cinema.
At the heart of our programmation is a short film competition entirely dedicated to students, aiming to celebrate creative youth. The association Cine Qua Non has carefully selected two categories of films: live-action and animation, which will be screened in cinemas of the Cergy-Pontoise metropolitan area. After the screenings, spectators will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite short film.
In conclusion of this unforgettable event, a financial reward will be given to the winners, accompanied by a prize specially designed for the occasion by a student from ENSAPC, honoring the best films chosen by the public and the jury. Three short films will be crowned: the Audience Award, the Best Live-Action Short Film, and the Best Animated Short Film.
